What our community dancers say

“These classes have been personally invaluable for getting back to exercise, and keeping moving during some physically challenging times. As a teacher, Priyanka has a real gift for making everyone feel welcome, involved and joyful”

“I loved meeting others in my community and learning about their lives and experiences. These are people I wouldn’t have ordinarily interacted with and I gained a lot from being able to bond with them in this way”

They are the highlight of my day! You not only teach us choreographies, you also beautifully explain the meaning behind every gesture and translate the lyrics, allowing us to learn more about Indian culture through both classical and modern dances.

As of now, this work is voluntary and the scope for impact is limited. We are actively applying for funding and would love to hear from you if you can support us. Here is a deeper dive into these classes.
